ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS


Before performing wheel alignment, verify the following specifications:


Fuel Tank — Full

Trunk — Contains only normally present items

Wheel Nut Torque — 60 ft. lbs.

Wheel Bearing End Play — .001” - .008”


Caster

Positive 2º + 1/4º - 1/2º (Within 1/2º of opposite side.)


Camber

Positive 1º ± 1/2º (Within 1/2º of opposite side.)

Camber Bolt Lock Nut Torque — 80 ft. lbs.


Steering Axis Inclination

6 1/2º ± 1/2º


Toe-in

3/16” to 5/16” (This adjustment must be made after Caster & Camber adjustments)



ADDITIONAL TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS


Speedometer Cable to Steering Knuckle — 40 Inch lbs.

Upper & Lower Ball Stud Nuts — 35 ft. lbs.

Steering Arm Bolt — 45 ft. lbs.

Brake Anchor Bolt — 80 ft. lbs.

Stabilizer Bar Clamp Bolt — 120 Inch lbs.

Replacement Ball Joint to Control Arm — 25 ft. lbs.

Cross Shaft Bolt — 40 ft. lbs.

Acceptable Ball Joint Rotational Torque — 3 ft. lbs. ± 1
