Fitment Notes

• The Corvair’s battery is mounted in the rear engine compartment on the driver's side.

• The Positive and Negative battery post position is important for proper cable installation. 

Tips

• Ensure good ground and clean terminals — corrosion is common on older cars.

• Use the proper battery hold-down bracket to prevent movement during driving. The OEM bracket and bolt work well on today's modern batteries.
