1968 and 69 Corvair owners rejoice! You can replace that obnoxious key warning buzzer with a more modern chime.

Download the Key Warning Chime.mp3 file provided here
Using a mini USB cable, connect the programmable speaker to your computer. The speaker should show up on your Desktop as a storage device.
Copy the Key Warning Chime.mp3 file to it. (You may want to delete any other sound files on the programmable speaker.)
Eject the Programmable Speaker as you would any other USB drive before physically disconnecting it.
Test the speaker by applying 12V DC to it.
To install it, attach the orange wire from the OEM harness connector to the red lead of the programmable speaker. Attach the pink wire from the OEM harness connector to the speaker’s black lead.
Test by placing your ignition key fully into the switch with your driver’s door open. If your buzzer was working before, you should now be hearing a more pleasant chime tone.
